    If you do blokish things, you behave in a traditionally male way — in the British sense of a bloke. Think football, beer, jokes, not much talk about feelings, a bit rough around the edges. It can be lightly teasing or a little critical, as if the person is playing “typical man” a bit loudly. It is informal and mainly British. It is not the same as brave, and it is not the same as gentlemanly. A close twin is blokey; is even more “boys together.”
