The blogosphere is all the blogs on the internet, talked about as one big space — as if they were a world made of blogs. People use it when they mean bloggers as a group: “the political blogosphere,” “it blew up in the blogosphere.” It was a fashionable word in the 2000s, when blogs felt new and loud. It is a bit old-fashioned now, because so much talk moved to social media, though writers still use it, often with a slightly or newspaper tone. It is not one website you can visit. It is a way of pointing at that whole crowd of personal sites.
