Biz is a short, informal way to say business, especially the world of entertainment, music, film, or fashion. Showbiz is the show-business world; the music biz is the music industry. People who work in that world say it with a shrug: ‘That’s showbiz’ means ‘that’s just how this industry is’ — luck, , and all. It can also mean any line of work in a way (‘How’s biz?’), but the entertainment flavour is the strongest. It is spoken and magazine English, not essay English. You clip it off business; you do not build it from other pieces.
圈、業界(口語,尤指娛樂圈;showbiz 是演藝圈)
