This is a small word borrowed from French and Italian. People shout 'Bis!' at a concert to ask for the song again - it means about the same as 'encore!'. You will not use this in normal conversation; you will mostly meet it written in music programs, or hear it shouted at a live performance. Though actually, the same little piece, bis-, meaning 'twice', hides inside some ordinary English words too.
