- 1v/bɪˈɡæn/開始（過去式）
The past tense of begin: it shows that something started at an earlier time.
「began」是 begin 的過去式，用來說「以前某件事開始了」。現在式說 begin、begins，講過去就換成 began，例如 The movie began at seven（電影七點開始了）。後面可以接 V-ing（began crying）或 to V（began to cry），兩種都行。過去分詞是 begun，不要跟 began 搞混——have/has 後面要用 begun。
