1. 1

Bedclothes are the cloth things you put on a bed to sleep on or under: sheets, blankets, duvets, covers. They are not the you wear. In everyday talk people more often say , or they just name the pieces — the sheets, the duvet. Bedclothes sounds a little or old-fashioned, but everyone still understands it. Though actually, the clothes part tricks : here it is closer to “cloths,” the coverings for the bed, not outfits. English has had a word for this a very long time; Old English already had bedclāþ for a or blanket, and the modern plural grew from that.

    寢具(床單、棉被、床罩;不是睡衣。台灣常說「寢具」,較少說「床上用品」)
