Beamer is an informal nickname for a car made by BMW. People say it the way they say “a Mercedes” or “a Honda,” but with a , slightly feel: you are naming the brand without using the letters. You will also hear Beemer and Bimmer; car fans sometimes argue which spelling is “right,” though actually ordinary speakers mix them. It is slang, not what the company prints on the car. In careful or written English, say BMW. Though actually another word spelled beamer means a in some countries — that is not this sense.
