Ambivalently is how you do something when you feel two ways about it and cannot pick one. You might smile ambivalently, speak ambivalently, or agree ambivalently — the action happens, but the feeling behind it is mixed. It is the adverb from ambivalent, so it has the same careful, slightly formal flavour. In everyday talk people more often say with mixed feelings.
