Aluminum is a light, silver-colored metal used to make things like cans, foil (the shiny paper you wrap food in), airplane parts, and window frames. It's popular because it's light in weight but still strong, and it doesn't rust the way some metals do. Note: in British English, this metal is spelled and said 'aluminium,' with an extra 'i' and one more syllable — same metal, different spelling and pronunciation depending on which country you're in.
鋁
組成Named from 'alum,' an old mineral name, plus a metal-naming ending.
