An action-packed film, book, or game is stuffed with events — fights, chases, sudden turns — so you barely sit still. Packed here is like a bag packed full: the story is filled tight with action. You meet this word most on posters, trailers, and reviews; it is selling language as much as a calm description, and people stretch it onto a match, a trip, even an action-packed day at work when they want to say it was busy and dramatic. It feels informal and a bit breathless. A quiet, slow film is the opposite; nobody calls a talky drama action-packed unless they are joking.
