4G is the fourth big step in the way a mobile phone talks to the internet without a wire. 2G was mostly for calls and short texts. 3G made the internet on a phone usable. 4G made it fast enough for films, maps, and video calls while you walk around. 5G is the step after.
Phone shops and ads say 4G as if it were a thing you buy in a box. What you really get is a kind of radio service from your phone company. If you are in a basement, in the mountains, or on a crowded train, the phone may drop to something slower or show no service, even if the box said 4G.
People also print 4G . is one common way of building 4G. In daily Taiwan talk you can just say 4G. The word is a little technical, but almost everyone with a phone uses it.
組成4 = fourth; G = generation, meaning “the next big age of the same idea,” not a school grade and not the word good.
